  1. Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the System Cover:

    1. During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.

    2. Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.

    3. Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.

  2. Undo the Thumbscrew securing the back of the cover.

  1. Push the cover forward and lift it up and away from the computer.

  1. Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the System Fan:

    1. During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.

    2. Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.

    3. Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.

    4. Remove the System Cover.

  2. Push the two (2) blue tabs towards each other [1] and lift the fan up and turn the fan over [2] to access beneath it.

  1. Disconnect the speaker and system fan cable from the motherboard.

  2. Pull the tabs on either side of the memory module away from the module.

    1. During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.

    2. Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.

    3. Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.

    4. Remove the System Cover.

  2. Push the blue tabs on either side of the drive together [1]. Push the assembly towards the front of the personal computer to release it [2].

  1. Remove the drive assembly up and out of the personal computer [3].

    4. Remove the System Cover, and Hard Disk Drive.

  2. Remove the screw that secures the M.2 PCIe SSD to the motherboard [1].

  1. Lift the card up and remove from the PCIe slot [2].

  2. Press the release latch until the coin-cell battery pops up [1].
