Symptoms

DCNM was recently upgraded.

  • DCNM client is accessible from the DCNM server, but not accessible remotely.
  • When trying to open DCNM client from a remote personal computer, it is pointing to the older client version and giving an incompatible version error.
  • Error message: 
    This DCNM SAN client version is not compatible with server version, please use client version 11.x

 

Cause

The Java console remembers the previous version of the SAN client data.

 

Resolution

Cleared java cache
