From the ECS user interface - The are three categories of operations that can be run on buckets

One of the optional operations that can be configured is a Bucket quota - Below are the steps to configure or alter a Bucket's quota.

4. From the "Bucket Management" page, click the drop-down menu which should display "Select namespace *."

6. Here, we are presented with parameters and configurations for the selected Bucket.
     i. These are broken down into three sections - Basic, Required, Optional.
ii. In this instance, we navigate to the "Optional" section, by clicking "Next" twice.

7. Here we are presented with the below screen.
     i. From the drop-down - Select whether to block access with or without a Notification beforehand
ii. Verify that "Quota" is turned on.
iii. It is possible to send only a notification, block only, or send a notification and block at the set quota.

8. Once completed, - Click "Save." It may take a few moments for this change to be saved. But a green banner should appear briefly to indicate that this change has been successful.

9. Once completed, return to the "Bucket Management" section as in Step 4. Under the "Max Quota" column, the updated value for the quota should be included.

10. When the notification period is reached (180 GiB) in this example, an alert of severity "Warning" is generated and logged in the Events section. Similarly, when the quota limit is reached. An alert of severity "Error" is generated in the same section.
