最近，有效負載超過 1500 位元組的乙太網幀變得越來越流行（它們被稱為巨型幀），它們承載 9000 位元組的有效負載。
將 MTU 增加到預設值 1500 的問題是，路徑上的所有網路裝置都必須支援增加的 MTU 值。
另一方面，使用 VPN/PPPoe/firewall/等可能會導致 WAN 連結上的 MTU 低於 1500。
在這兩種情況下，我們必須確保 RecoverPoint 叢集之間的所有路徑上的 MTU 皆一致，否則可能會出現非預期的問題，例如：
亦不支援波動 MTU，因為 RPA 僅支援固定 MTU 值，而波動 MTU 最終可能會導致通訊問題。

如果測試失敗，請測試較低的 MTU 值。測試準則是使用 RecoverPoint 預先設定的值 （請參閱下方），但從值中減去 28 以反映封包標頭。在上面的示例中，通過將 ping 1472 作為數據包大小來測試 1500 MTU，以考慮 ping 測試的 28 位開銷。如果測試 1492 作為 MTU，則應使用 1464 作為 -s 大小。測試 1430，您將使用 1402 依此類推。
