Instructions

This article demonstrates steps to properly shutdown IDPA using Appliance Configuration Manager (ACM) and integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC) Web interfaces.

Procedure
 
  • Perform the following:       
  1. Log in to the iDRAC interface.
iDRAC Login
  1. On the iDRAC dashboard, check the section System Information to validate the System and its Power State, which should be OFF.
iDRAC Power On
  1. Click on the button Power On System. A dialogue box is displayed to show successful Power On operation.
Success

 

Note: Monitor the start up progress under IDRAC Virtual console. Once the yellow screen is seen with the message "local.sh rc scripts running”, wait for 15 minutes and open the ACM UI to watch startup progress.
 

  1. On the iDRAC dashboard, check the section System Information to validate the Power State, which should now be ON.
