How to set the Networker log rollover / truncation time

Need to set the Networker logs to rollover daily, rather than allowing them to grow.

Resolution

Run nsradmin on the server:

nsradmin -p nsrexecd -s localhost

NetWorker administration program.
Use the "help" command for help, "visual" for full-screen mode.
nsradmin> p type: NSR log


Current settings:
                        type: NSR log;
               administrator: root, "user=root,host=server.domain.com";
                       owner: NMC Log File;
             maximum size MB: 2;
            maximum versions: 10;
        runtime rendered log: ;
    runtime rollover by size: Disabled;
    runtime rollover by time: Disabled;
                        name: gstd.raw;
                    log path: /opt/lgtonmc/logs/gstd.raw;

                        type: NSR log;
               administrator: root, "user=root,host=server.domain.com ";
                       owner: NetWorker;
             maximum size MB: 2;
            maximum versions: 10;
        runtime rendered log: ;
    runtime rollover by size: Disabled;
    runtime rollover by time: Disabled;
                        name: daemon.raw;
                    log path: /nsr/logs/daemon.raw;


To update the time:
nsradmin> update  runtime rollover by time: "17:00"
    runtime rollover by time: "17:00";
Update? y

    runtime rollover by time: "17:00";

Additional Information

Note that the actual time the logs rotate may be up to an hour after the time specified, because the log rotate time is checked hourly after Networker start.
Therefore, in the above example, of Networker started at say hh:35, the log rotation will occur at 17:35 daily.
