NVMe-stasjoner forsvinner eller fungerer ikke når de er i eldre modus.

Cause

VmD-teknologien (Intel Volume Management Device) (også kjent som Intel® Virtual RAID på CPU eller vROC) støtter ikke eldre modus. Disse stasjonene vises bare som koblet til kontrolleren når de er i UEFI-modus.

Resolution

Gå inn i BIOS, og deaktiver VMD-kontrollerne slik at plattformen bruker de opprinnelige NVMe-kontrollerne og NVMe-driverne på operativsystemet.

  1. Start opp i BIOS-oppsettet
  2. Naviger til System Configuration (Systemkonfigurasjon) en Intel VMD Technology (Intel VMD-teknologi ), og endre datamaskinen fra Auto til Disabled (Automatisk) til Disabled (Deaktivert), og fjern alle PCIE-boksene på samme side (figur 1).

  3. Klikk på Apply (Bruk), OK og deretter Exit (Avslutt).

Hotplug støttes ikke lenger på disse stasjonene når de brukes i denne modusen.
