Symptoms

NVMe-enheter försvinner eller fungerar inte i äldre läge.

Cause

Intel Volume Management Device (VMD)-teknik (kallas även Intel® Virtual RAID på processor eller vROC) stöder inte äldre läge. Dessa enheter visas kopplade till styrenheten endast i UEFI-läge.

Resolution

Gå in i BIOS och inaktivera VMD-styrenheterna så att plattformen använder de inbyggda NVMe-styrenheterna och NVMe-drivrutinerna i operativsystemet.

  1. Starta i BIOS-inställningarna
  2. Gå till System Configuration (systemkonfiguration) och ändra datorn från Auto till Disabled (automatisk) och rensa alla PCIE-rutor på samma sida (bild 1).

  3. Klicka på Apply (verkställ), OK och sedan På Exit (avsluta).

Hot plug kan inte längre användas på de här enheterna i det här läget.
