Symptoms

NVMe-drev forsvinder eller fungerer ikke, når de er i Legacy-tilstand.

Cause

Intel VMD-teknologien (Volume Management Device) (også kendt som Intel® Virtual RAID på CPU eller vROC) understøtter ikke Legacy-tilstand. Disse drev vil kun blive vist som forbundet til controlleren i UEFI-tilstand.

Resolution

Gå ind i BIOS, og deaktiver VMD-controllere, så platformen bruger de indbyggede NVMe-controllere og NVMe-drivere på operativsystemet.

  1. Start op i BIOS-opsætningen
  2. Gå til Systemkonfiguration, en Intel VMD-teknologi, skift computeren fra Automatisk til Deaktiveret, og ryd alle PCIE-bokse på samme side (Figur 1).

  3. Klik på Anvend, OK, og derefter på Afslut.

Hot-plug vil ikke længere være understøttet på disse drev, når de anvendes i denne tilstand.
