Symptoms

If you are using a gaming display such as the Dell S2417DG monitor connected to your computer, you may notice a flicker on the screen. The screen or display flickers whenever you are gaming with G-SYNC enabled. The issue is seen when you are playing games in Window mode.

Cause

This issue is identified as a compatibility issue between the G-SYNC technology on the monitor and the NVIDIA RTX graphics cards.

Resolution

To help address the flickering issue on the monitor:
  • Switch to full screen mode whenever you are playing games with the G-SYNC function enabled on the monitor.
