Dell and Secureworks, in collaboration, provide next-generation anti-virus and behavioral endpoint detection and response (EDR) through VMware Carbon Black. This collaboration both proactively manages threats and stops malware and nonmalware attacks from a cloud-native endpoint protection platform. Secureworks Taegis XDR (formerly Secureworks Red Cloak Threat Detection & Response) is a threat-intelligence-based security analytics platform with built-in security context. Secureworks Taegis XDR allows you to detect, investigate, and respond to advanced threats across your endpoints, network, and cloud environments.

Secureworks Taegis ManagedXDR (Managed Extended Detection and Response) (formerly Secureworks Red Cloak Managed Detection & Response) combines Secureworks Taegis XDR with security analytics software, SecOps expertise, incident response, and threat hunting experience. With 24x7 service, you can detect advanced threats and take the right action.

First-time login and configuration:

To set up your Secureworks Taegis XDR services, you may reach out to Secureworks by emailing Taegis Activations at TaegisActivations@secureworks.com. Provide your company name, order number, contact name, and email address of the administrator for Secureworks Taegis XDR.

Subsequent logins:

Note: All connections to Secureworks Taegis XDR are over 443 (https) using TLS 1.2.

Secureworks Taegis XDR allows for multiple administrators and analysts to help manage events and investigations.

  2. From the left pane, select Tenant Settings and then click Users.

  3. Select Invite a New User in the upper right corner of the page.

The Secureworks Taegis XDR agent is available within the Secureworks Taegis XDR web console. For more information, reference How to Download the Secureworks Taegis XDR Agent.

Secureworks Taegis XDR allows for password resets from the login screen.

  2. On the login page, select Forgot Password?

  3. Populate your email address and then click Submit.

    Note: These email messages come from the email address ctpx@secureworks.com.

Secureworks Taegis XDR allows for multifactor authentication to be reset from the login screen.

  2. Populate your Email and Password and then click Login.

  3. When asked for the verification code, select I need a new QR code.

  4. An email is sent to your email address with a link for resetting your multifactor authentication.
