The Dell Threat Defense requires an installation token to install either the Windows or Mac client.

Resolution

To obtain an installation token:

  1. From a web browser, go to the Dell Threat Defense administration console at:
  2. Log in to Dell Threat Defense administration console.

  1. Click the Devices tab within the Dell Threat Defense tenant user interface (UI).

  1. Click Add New Device.

  1. Record the displayed token. Optionally download the installer by clicking either Windows or Mac OS X and then selecting the installation format.
