Dell heeft nu een hulpprogramma waarmee BIOS-upgrades in een native 64-bits omgeving (WinPE) kunnen worden uitgevoerd.

Resolution

Begin met het downloaden van het Dell BIOS Flash Utility 64-bits, ga naar de productpagina van de computer en klik op Drivers en downloads.

Opmerking: Het versienummer kan afwijken van dat in de bovenstaande schermafbeelding.

Installatie-instructies

  • Download het uitvoerbare BIOS-bestand voor de specifieke computer die u wilt bijwerken en plaats het in een map van uw keuze.
  • Download Flash64W.exe en plaats deze in dezelfde map als het uitvoerbare BIOS-bestand.
  • Open een Windows-opdrachtprompt (De opdrachtprompt: Wat het is en hoe het te gebruiken op een Dell systeem) en ga naar de map waar u het BIOS en het Flash64W.exe-bestand hebt geplaatst.
  • Typ: Run Flash64W.exe /b=BIOSExecutableName.exe

Voorbeeld: Flash64W.exe /b=XPS_9350_112.exe

Opmerking: Dit is alleen voor clientcomputers en werkt niet op Enterprise-servers.
