Symptoms

This article provides the steps for backing up and restoring the certificate for Advanced Threat Prevention in the Dell Data Security (formerly Dell Data Protection) server. This certificate contains the registration information for the currently registered Advanced Threat Prevention SaaS-based environment that the Dell Security Management Server is registered against. If for some reason the database is lost, or the connection to the Advanced Threat Prevention environment is damaged in some way, this certificate would allow one to configure another Dell Security Management Server (or Dell Security Management Server Virtual) against that existing Advanced Threat Prevention SaaS environment.
