How to Uninstall Absolute

Absolute may require uninstallation from an endpoint to:

  • Fix licensing discrepancies.
  • Troubleshoot the product.
  • Address operating system incompatibility.

Resolution

A removal request must be submitted to uninstall the Absolute agent from an endpoint.

To place an endpoint removal request:

  1. Open a web browser and go to https://cc.absolute.comThis hyperlink is taking you to a website outside of Dell Technologies..
  2. Populate the email address used to access the web portal and then click Next.

  1. Log In to the web portal.

  1. In the left menu, select the Find Devices icon.

  1. Click Active Devices.

  1. Search for the endpoint.

  1. Check the endpoint to unenroll.

  1. Click Device Action and then select Unenroll Device.
