1. Sul server NetWorker, creare un file di input (ad esempio vmperf)
2. Compilare il file di input con i seguenti dati: 
. type: save job; vm_name: VM_NAME
sh vm_name; job output; start time; end time; job log file
p
Nota: sostituire VM_NAME con il nome della VM interessata. È possibile ottenere queste informazioni dall'output del comando mminfo -kot.

3. Utilizzando una query sul processo e il file di input, è possibile raccogliere dettagli sull'ora di inizio e fine del processo e le informazioni di registro della sessione di backup.

4. Le date e gli orari riportati nell'output sono in formato UNIX e possono essere convertiti utilizzando: date -d@UNIX_TIME

5. Per i backup durati a lungo, rivedere il file di registro del processo per informazioni sul throughput:

6. I registri delle policy per la VM specifica possono essere rivisti eseguendo:

Nota: i registri delle policy seguono la retention jobsdb (impostazione predefinita: 72 ore). Trascorso l'intervallo jobsdb, i registri delle policy associati e le voci jobquery vengono rimossi; tuttavia, l'appliance vProxy conserva i registri della sessione di backup delle VM in locale in /opt/emc/vproxy/runtime/logs/recycle/vbackupd/
