Authentication of an internal Avamar user such as the Avamar server superuser

or the replication user

is failing.
To check whether the password has an issue, log in to the Avamar Utility Node.
Get a list of the internal Avamar users:
admin@avamar:~/>: avmgr getu

The following command and response shows that the password for 'MCUser' is valid
admin@avamar:~/>: avmgr logn --id=MCUser --ap=correctpassword
1 Request succeeded
4601 privilege level (enabled,create,read,backup,access,move,delete,noticketrequired)
2 block type (directory)
The following is seen if an incorrect password is used:
admin@avamar:~/>: avmgr logn --id=MCUser --ap=badpassword
0 ERROR! Exit code 69: Authentication failure (Invalid password? User disabled?)
If the username is spelled incorrectly, the result is:
admin@avamar:~/>: avmgr logn --id=MCHammerz --ap=somepassword
0 ERROR! Exit code 66: User not found in Avamar database
