How to Determine the Printer Driver for Wyse Thin Client Printing

The Printer ID is vital for the VDI to autodetect the printer when connecting with a ThinOS device. Otherwise the printer needs to be added manual on every connection.

To find the printer driver name:

On the Windows Server:

  1. Open Printer settings

  1. Click on Printer server properties and select drivers.

  1. The driver's name must be added as the Printer ID in the LPD Settings on the Thin Client.
Note: Case, spaces and special characters are all important and cannot be omitted.
