Symptoms

由於未預期的網路錯誤，備份至 Data Domain Common Internet File System （CIFS） 共用失敗，並顯示下列訊息：

BackupIoRequest::ReportIoError: write failure on backup device '\\device\share\Database_full_20240316015305.BAK'. Operating system error 59 (An unexpected network error occurred.).
The operating system returned the error '59(An unexpected network error occurred.)' while attempting 'DiskChangeFileSize' on '\\device\share\Database_full_20240316015305.BAK'
The operating system returned the error '59(An unexpected network error occurred.)' while attempting 'FlushFileBuffers' on '\\device\share\Database_full_20240316015305.BAK'.

Cause

Windows 工作階段逾時預設為 60 秒。此逾時不僅取決於 Data Domain 回應時間，還取決於任何網路延遲。如果網路速度較慢或 Data Domain 處理時間比預期長 （例如在高備份負載下快速擴充索引），Windows 會重設連線，導致備份錯誤。

Resolution

執行下列命令，將 Windows 工作階段逾時增加至較高的值，例如 180 秒： 
Set-SmbClientConfiguration -SessionTimeout 180 -Force
