Symptoms

예기치 않은 네트워크 오류로 인해 Data Domain CIFS(Common Internet File System) 공유에 대한 백업이 실패하고 다음 메시지가 표시됩니다.

BackupIoRequest::ReportIoError: write failure on backup device '\\device\share\Database_full_20240316015305.BAK'. Operating system error 59 (An unexpected network error occurred.).
The operating system returned the error '59(An unexpected network error occurred.)' while attempting 'DiskChangeFileSize' on '\\device\share\Database_full_20240316015305.BAK'
The operating system returned the error '59(An unexpected network error occurred.)' while attempting 'FlushFileBuffers' on '\\device\share\Database_full_20240316015305.BAK'.

Cause

Windows 세션 시간 초과는 기본적으로 60초입니다. 이 시간 초과는 Data Domain 응답 시간뿐 아니라 네트워크 레이턴시의 영향도 받습니다. 네트워크가 느리거나 Data Domain 처리 시간이 예상보다 오래 걸리는 경우(예: 백업 로드가 많을 때 인덱스가 빠르게 확장되는 경우) Windows는 연결을 재설정하여 백업 오류를 일으킵니다.

Resolution

다음 명령을 실행하여 Windows 세션 시간 초과를 180초와 같은 더 높은 값으로 늘립니다. 
Set-SmbClientConfiguration -SessionTimeout 180 -Force
