Pre-Removal instructions before removing the Base Cover:
During installation or removal of any hardware always ensures that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
With the closed laptop sitting upside down and flat to the desk, remove the eight (8) retained screws that secure the base cover to the chassis.

Lift the cover away from the system.
Push the micro-SD card to eject it from the slot.
Remove the micro-SD card from the computer.
Insert a pin into the release hole to release the SIM card tray.
Push the pin to disengage the lock, and eject the SIM card tray.
Slide the SIM card tray out of the slot on the system.
Slide the SIM card tray out of the slot on the system.
Slide and push the SIM card tray back into the slot.

Remove the two screws (M2x2) that secure the SSD shield and remove the shield from the SSD.
Remove the screw (M2x2) that secures the SSD to the system board.
