Processen med at slå lyd til på Chromebooks er forskellig fra andre bærbare computere.
Chromebook-tastaturer har en dedikeret mute-tast på tastaturet, men har ikke en til/fra-tast. Den manglende tast er designet efter hensigten.
For at slå lyd til/ fra skal du trykke på lydstyrke op- eller lydstyrke ned-tasten (Figur 1).
