How to Identify the Secureworks Red Cloak Endpoint Agent Version

This article provides the steps to locate and identify the Secureworks Red Cloak Endpoint agent version.

To confirm the agent version:

  1. As an administrator, right-click the Windows start menu and then click Run.
  2. In the Run UI, type cmd and then press Enter.

  1. Type cd "[PATH]" and then press Enter.

Note:
  • [PATH] = The Secureworks Red Cloak Endpoint setup folder
  • By default, the setup folder is C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell SecureWorks\Red Cloak.
  1. Type redcloak.exe --check and then press Enter.

Checking Red Cloak version

  1. Command Prompt outputs information similar to the below example output. The installed version displays in the [INFO] Version: output. If you see errors or do not see a [SUCCESS] message at the end, contact Dell Support.

Note:

To confirm the agent version:

  1. Open Terminal.

  1. Type /opt/secureworks/redcloak/bin/redcloak -–check and then press Enter to verify the agent version. The installed version displays in the [INFO] Version: output.
