Overview
A device driver or software driver is a computer program allowing higher-level computer programs to interact with a hardware device. For Latitude 3470 systems, all the drivers installation for their devices are similar except that some system may have more devices than the other.
Note: Use this page as a reference on how Device Manager should look like before and after the drivers have been installed. Drivers can be downloaded from the www.dell.com/support/drivers
After a fresh copy of Windows is installed, always install the Intel Chipset Driver Utility first. After that, you can install the rest of the device drivers in any sequence. You can view the screenshots of before and after the driver installation below the table.
Note: The drivers installation process for Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 are almost identical. (Most of the device drivers will be pre-installed during the Windows 8.1 and 10 installation process).

Realtek RTL8111G LAN Network Device
There is no change in the Device Manager after installation of the Realtek RTL8111G LAN driver. Install the update from www.dell.com/support/drivers or by inserting the Dell Resource DVD.
Intel Dual Band Wireless 3165
Note: The Latitude 3470 supports a number of wireless cards. Below is an example of Device Manager changes after installing the driver
There is no change in the Device Manager after installation of the Intel Dual Band Wireless 3165 WLAN driver. Install the update from www.dell.com/support/drivers or by inserting the Dell Resource DVD.
Check if the Bluetooth driver is installed by looking at the Device Manager shown below. Install the update from www.dell.com/support/drivers

Realtek IR Camera
