Symptoms

An empty device Information panel may be displayed after handling an incorrectly specified command on the VDG configuration panel.                                       

Cause

This is due to a software issue.

Resolution

Permanent Fix:
  • For Mainframe Enablers 8.5, PTF SF85102 has been developed to correct the issue. It is available to download from Dell Online Support.
  • For Mainframe Enablers 8.4, PTF SF84154 has been developed to correct the issue. It is available to download from Dell Online Support.
