Symptoms
- Unisphere GUI geeft meldingen weer voor verschillende DAE-stations:
- Op dit moment waren er vanwege geluste backend-connectiviteit slechts drie uitbreidingsbehuizingen aangesloten, maar er werden zes behuizingen weergegeven.
- Het is niet mogelijk om groepen te maken met deze schijven, en als de array al operationeel was, zouden de groepen offline zijn.
Cause
Onjuiste backendbekabeling.
Problematische verbinding:
** Zoals hieronder te zien is, is SAS-poort 1 op de DPE SPA aangesloten op LCC A-poort "B" en niet op poort "A" en is DPE SPB SAS-poort 1 aangesloten op de LCC B-poort "B" van de laatste DAE. Dit maakt de laatste DAE die tegelijkertijd met 1_0 en 0_2 is verbonden. Wat creëerde een lus?

** Zoals hieronder te zien is, is SAS-poort 1 op de DPE SPA aangesloten op LCC A-poort "B" en niet op poort "A" en is DPE SPB SAS-poort 1 aangesloten op de LCC B-poort "B" van de laatste DAE. Dit maakt de laatste DAE die tegelijkertijd met 1_0 en 0_2 is verbonden. Wat creëerde een lus?
Resolution
Corrigeer de verbinding als volgt:
DPE - DAE 1_0
DPE - DAE 0_0
** Onthoud dat de eerste behuizing die is aangesloten op SAS-poort 0 op de DPE 0_0 is als het een UnityXT serie is en 0_1 als het een Unity xxx/xxxF/x50 serie is.
