Symptoms

Den flagga som ställs in för att ange om en funktion är aktiverad eller inte i Windows Server 2016 ställs inte in förrän efter en omstart.  När du kör serverinstallationsguiden i Dell Storage Manager visas nedanstående felmeddelande eftersom flaggan inte är inställd.  

Det gick inte att aktivera MPIO på den lokala värden ...

Resolution

Alternativ lösning:
  1. Först installerar du MPIO på system som kör Windows Server 2016.
  2. Starta om servern.
  3. Kontrollera att MPIO har installerats genom att:
    1. Köra PowerShell-kommandot: 
       get-windowsfeature multipath-io
        Installationsläget måste visas som "Installerat".
    2. söka efter MPIO via Kontrollpanelen i Windows 
  4. Använd Dell Storage Manager och kör guiden för serverkonfiguration. 
Om du stöter på ovanstående fel startar du om servern och kör guiden igen.

Upplösning:
Korrigeringen finns i uppdateringen från mars 2018 3B-paketet KB 4088787 (som är ett kumulativt paket).
