Symptoms

若搭載 Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller 9 (iDRAC9) 的 Dell EMC PowerEdge 伺服器出貨時已安裝 iDRAC9 韌體版本 4.40.40.00 (或更新版本)，則需要兩步驟的降級路徑，以安裝較舊版本的 iDRAC9 韌體。嘗試將 iDRAC9 韌體降級至 2021 年 2 月之前的韌體版本時，韌體更新將會失敗。生命週期記錄中會在 iDRAC 重新開機期間記錄到 RAC0181 資訊事件。

Cause

Dell EMC PowerEdge 第 14 代伺服器導入了一種硬體信任根安全性功能，需要使用內嵌於系統主機板的憑證來驗證韌體映像。從 iDRAC9 4.40.40.00 開始，必須在韌體映像中驗證一種新的硬體憑證，才能套用到 iDRAC。舊版 iDRAC 韌體映像並未包含最新的硬體憑證映像。

Resolution

若要將 iDRAC9 降級至 2021 年 2 月前的韌體版本，iDRAC 首先需要降級至 iDRAC9 韌體版本 4.40.10.00。此韌體版本將支援舊版的硬體信任根認證，並允許降級至舊版。
