Solution

There are two ways to clear the message.

1. CLI

  1. Log in to the UCSM using SSH session

  2. Run scope server x/y (where x/y is the blade no. 7/5 in the above example)

  3. Run show sel (if you want to backup the existing logs)

  4. Run clear sel

  5. Run commit-buffer

2. User interface

  1. Web browse to the UCSM UI

  2. Select the blade in the Equipment tab 

  3. Click SEL Logs > Clear
