Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the Stand:
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Place the system on its screen. Press and slide the release tab at the back of where the stand meets the system.
Hold the button in the release position and lift the stand upward. Then slide the stand downward, to lift the stand off the back cover.
Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the Cable Cover (Optional):
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the Stand.
Move the cables sideways and out of the cable slots [1]
Remove the screw (M3x5) securing the cable cover to the bottom cover [2]. Then lift the cable cover from the bottom cover.

Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the Stand and the Cable Cover.
Press and hold the release tab in the space left by the stand, to open the latch on the system board shield [1].
Slide the cover towards the top of the chassis and then lift it up and off the chassis [2].

Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the Stand, Cable Cover (optional), and the Back Cover.
Pry and remove the DIMM door from the system-board shield [1].
Pull the metal clips on either side of the memory module away from each other to release the memory module and you can remove it from the slot [2].

Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.

Press the tab [1] that secures the Hard-drive, slide the HDD to right side, and lift out of the HDD bracket [2].
Pry the tabs on hard-drive bracket from its slots on the hard drive [3].
Remove the hard drive from the hard-drive bracket [4].

During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the Stand, Cable Cover (optional), and the Back Cover.
Remove the five (M3x5) screws that secure the system board shield to the chassis [1] and lift the shield away from the system.
Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the System Fan:
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the Stand, Cable Cover (optional), Back Cover, System Board Shield.
Disconnect the fan cable from the motherboard, and remove the three (M3x5) screws holding the fan to the chassis [1], so you can lift the fan out of the system [2].
Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the Coin Cell Battery:
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the Stand, Cable Cover (optional), Back Cover, System Board Shield.
Press the tab on the coin cell socket with plastic scribe or finger tip until the battery pops up [1] and then lift the battery out of the socket [2].
Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the M.2 2230 Solid State Drive (SSD):
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the Stand, Cable Cover (optional), Back Cover, System Board Shield.
Remove the single screw (M2x2.5) that secures the SSD drive to the motherboard [1], then slide and remove the card out of the M.2 card slot [2].
Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the WLAN Card:
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the Stand, Cable Cover (optional), Back Cover, System Board Shield.
Remove the two (M2x4) screws that secure the WLAN card shield to the motherboard [1] and remove the shield from the system [2].
Move the antenna cables out of the routing guides.
Remove the single screw that secures the bracket to the card [3], slide the bracket off of the card [4] and disconnect the antenna cables from card [5] and lift the card out of the system [6].
Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the Camera Assembly:
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the Stand, Cable Cover (optional), Back Cover, System Board Shield.
Remove the two (M3x5) screws that secure the camera assembly cover to the frame [1]. Lift the camera assembly cover away from the frame.
Disconnect the camera cable from the motherboard [2], and remove the two (M3x5) screws that secure the pop-up camera assembly from the frame [2].
Slide the middle frame of camera assembly forward [3], and remove the pop-up camera assembly from the frame and unroute the cable [4].
Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the Base Cover:
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the Stand, Cable Cover (optional), Back Cover, and System Board Shield.
Remove the four (M3x5) screws [1] that secure the base cover to the system.
Pry and lift the base cover [2] away from the system.
Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the Power Supply Fan:
During installation or removals of any hardware always ensure that all data is backed up properly.
Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the Stand, Back Cover, Base Cover, System Board Shield.
Remove the power-supply cable from routing guides [1]. Disconnect the PSU Fan Cable from the system board [2].
Remove the two (M3x5) screws that secure the PSU Fan to lift the PSU Fan [2].
Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the Power Supply (PSU):

Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.
Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
Remove the Stand, Back Cover, Base Cover, System Board Shield.
Remove the screw (M3x5) that secures the power supply socket [1] and slide out the Power socket placed on the right-hand side of USB ports and Power supply socket on top-left [1].
Remove the power-supply cable from the routing guides positioned under the ports and PSU fan [1].
Remove the screw (M3x5) that secures the PSU [2] and lift the PSU out of the system [3].
