Correct RS232 cable to use with Dell C8618QT, C5518QT, C6522QT, or C5522QT monitor

RS232 cable for Dell monitor
If the Dell C8618QT, C5518QT, C6522QT, C5522QT monitor is not responding to RS232 commands, ensure the correct straight-through cable is used and not the cross-over cable. Reference Figure 1 below for details on the correct RS232 cable:

Resolution
After ensuring the proper RS232 cable is being used, you must disable the network connection following the steps below:
- Press and hold icon 5 on the screen for 4 seconds to turn on (Figure 2):
