Description:
File system XXXXXX is offline.

Cause

The issue is Filesystem goes offline with freeing free block error, this is the meta space of the lower deck file system.

Resolution

Please contact Dell EMC Customer Service And request immediate recovery assistance if your Filesystem is offline.

Permanent Fix:
  • The issue is fixed in 5.0.2.0.5.009 code. After recovery please upgrade to 5.0.2.0.5.009 or later to have the fix and prevent reoccurrence.
Workaround:
  • There is no workaround for this problem.
