NOTE: USB-C Thunderbolt 3 cables come in two variants, which are active and passive cables. USB-C MFDP (also known as multi-function DisplayPort) cables support USB-C with DisplayPort alternate mode. Dell ships an active USB-C Thunderbolt 3 cable with the Dell UP2720Q monitor.
