Web GUIまたはTelnetアクセス用のユーザ名とパスワードを設定するには、次のコマンドを実行します。
このコマンド例では、ユーザ名に「Dell」、パスワードに「PowerConnect」を使用しています。これらは単なる例で、スイッチを保護するためにより複雑で推測されにくい資格情報を使用する必要があります。

メモ: PowerConnect 5500シリーズスイッチおよびNシリーズスイッチの場合、コマンドには「level」ではなく「privilege」を使用します
console(config)#username Dell password PowerConnect privilege 15
メモ: スイッチ上で複数のユーザを作成できるほか、アクセスの異なるレベル/権限レベルも作成できます。 権限レベルには0、1または15のいずれかを指定できます。0はアクセス権なし、1は読み取り専用、15は読み取りおよび書き込みの権限が与えられます。
