Resolution

On September 24, 2018, Apple released macOS Mojave (10.14). This operating system update includes a new security feature called Full Disk Access. Full Disk Access blocks third-party applications from accessing certain file paths. This may prevent Dell Endpoint Security Suite Enterprise or Dell Threat Defense from fully protecting a device.

Full Disk Access can be granted Manually or through mobile device management (MDM) software.

Click the appropriate tab for more information.

To grant Full Disk Access:

  1. On the desktop menu bar, click the Apple icon and then select System Preferences.

System Preferences

  1. In the System Preferences menu, double-click Security & Privacy.

Security & Privacy
