PowerFlex Manager will not allow the deletion of a network/VLAN while it is in use by a service/resource group or a template.
It is assumed there are no servers or VMs currently using the network/VLAN being removed.
- From the PowerFlex Manager UI, remove (do not 'DELETE') any services/resource groups that reference the network/VLAN in question.
- From the PowerFlex Manager UI, edit any existing templates to remove any references to the network/VLAN in question.
- From the PowerFlex Manager UI, delete the network/VLAN.
- Remove the VLAN configuration from the relevant upstream network switches following the switch vendor's best practices.
- Remove the corresponding port-group from vCenter DVswitch if applicable.
- From the PowerFlex Manager UI, run inventory against all relevant resources.
- From the PowerFlex Manager UI, add the services/resource groups removed in step 1 back into PowerFlex Manager.
