Note:
- Latitude and OptiPlex AIO service motherboards may have no defined BIOS password.
- Devices shipped with the Ubuntu operating system have a blank password by default.
To enter the BIOS, follow these steps:
- Slowly tab the F2 key immediately after turning on until the BIOS screen appears.
Note: If the operating system splash screen appears, the attempt was unsuccessful.
- Enter the password
Fireport (case sensitive), then press the Enter key.
You should now be able to make any required BIOS changes.
Note: Wyse Management Suite generates a compliance error if no BIOS password is defined or the default Fireport BIOS password is in use.
