Intel Viiv Software v1.7.1 (formerly Salt Creek Refresh) available on ARMs for OEM customers. Kit #11526, Build # 1.7.512 Intel WLAN is optional for Santa Rosa on Desktop platforms. Beginning with Intel Viiv Software v1.7.1 BVT will no longer check for Intel WLAN. Intel recommends OEMs to refresh HR’07 or Winter’07 platforms with Intel Viiv Salt Creek Refresh (v1.7.1) release. Intel® X38, G35 , P31 or G31 Express Chipsets platforms require release v1.7.1

Download 1.Click Download Now, to download the file. 2.When the File Download window appears, click Save this program to disk (Windows XP users, click Save) and click OK. The Save In: window appears. 3.From the Save In: field, click the down arrow then click to select Desktop and click Save. The file will download to your desktop. 4.If the Download Complete window appears, click Close. The file name icon appears on your desktop.
Install 1.Double-click the new icon on the desktop labeled V171512.zip. The contents of the zip file will appear in a window. 2.Extract all the files by clicking on Extract. A window will appear to enter the destination of the setup.exe, choose the desktop. Click extract. 3.The Viiv Setup.exe will be extracted to the desktop. Start the installation by double clicking on the Setup.exe 4.Follow the on-screen installation instructions in the window.
