Format Description:
This file format consists of a BIOS-executable file. To use it, download the file and copy it to a DOS-bootable USB flash drive, then boot the system to the USB flash drive and run the program.
Please run A08.exe directly if you already updated the BIOS to A06.
Attention! Once you upgraded the BIOS to A08. Please DO NOT downgrade the BIOS to any older version. Note! The SATA mode will be changed to AHCI after you flash the BIOS. Please check the SATA mode in BIOS setup menu before BIOS update. It must be changed back to correct SATA mode for your system. Such as the system has RAID support by default, the SATA mode must be changed to RAID after BIOS update if it is not set to RAID correctly. You would refer to the following steps to change the SATA mode setting. 1. Power on the system -> 2. Press F2 to enter BIOS setup menu --> 3. Go to the "Advanced" page --> 4. Choose "Onboard Device Configuration"--> 5. Enter "SATA Mode" to change the mode which you need --> 6. Press F10 Save and Reset
1. Boot into Windows. 2. Copy A08.EXE onto your desktop. 3. Execute A08.EXE by double click it. 4. Click Update when BIOS Update Program dialogue box pop up. 5. Make sure you don't interrupt the update process. 6. Do not turn off power or disconnect AC power source before update complete. 7. Press Yes to confirm the BIOS version you want to update and to start BIOS Update process. 8. Press Yes and then system will restart after BIOS update complete.
