Fixes & Enhancements
1. Driver will rescan the BUS when a LD/PD is deleted, created, marked offline and/or when the controller is set to Dead to avoid IOs running to fill the system event log. PnP rescan will force the PnP Manager to send INQ to all the BUS/Target/Lun. 2. Standby resume changes to not log false FW errors. 3. Driver will scan all FW events since last shutdown when resuming from hibernation to report logical drives degraded while the system was on hibernation mode. 4. Fixes a system memory issue in configurations with more than 4GB of system memory where the Windows device driver may incorrectly handle an error event data. Symptoms may include a Windows stop error or an application hang.
Dell Technologies recommends applying this update during your next scheduled update cycle. The update contains changes to maintain overall system health. It ensures that the system software remains current and compatible with other system modules (firmware, BIOS, drivers, and software) and may include other new features.
