Instructions to Register a Package using Wyse Device Manager (WDM) 1. Launch Wyse Device Manager. 2. Click Applications in the Dell Wyse Device Manager Dashboard page. 3. Select any of the options except Device Configuration, and PCoIP Device Configuration. 4. Click the Create Package Plus (+) button. 5. Click Allow to download the Package Register utility. 6. Download the .exe file on your local repository. 7. Navigate to the folder and run the Package Register utility file. 8. Enter WDM server address and User credentials in the respective fields. 9. Select RSP to register and click Browse. 10. Select .RSP file to register and click Open. 11. Select the package that you want to register and click Upload.
Register a package using Wyse Management Suite (WMS)
1. Download the image to the WMS server. 2. Copy the downloaded .exe(image) to the WMS server repository (C:\Share\ repository\osImages\zipped) 3. Log in to WMS server. 4. Go to Portal Admin>File Repository and select the Local Repository check box and then click Sync Files. Wait for synchronization to complete. 5. Click Apps & Data and verify the copied package in the OS Image repository list. 6. Create a group in WMS server by clicking the Groups & Configs option. 7. Click the Plus sign (+) button, and register your client in the same group 8. Click the Apps and Data option, and click OS Image Policies. 9. Click Add Policy and update the required details. 10. To create a policy, go to Apps & Data, and click OS Image policies. 11. Click Add policy and configure the options. 12. Click Save. 13. Select the registered device and go to More actions. 14. Click Update WES image. 15. Enter the description and select the desired option, and then click the Preview button. 16. Click the Schedule button in Image Update job window. 17. Click Update Now at the client side. 18. Go to Job status and monitor Job. 19. After Image Update, Job status is displayed as Completed.
