The Dell MD Storage Array Management Pack Suite v6.1 for Microsoft System Center 2016 Operations Manager, Microsoft System Center 2012 R2 Operations Manager, Microsoft System Center 2012 SP1 Operations Manager, Microsoft System Center 2012 Operations Manager, and Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2 enables Operations Manager (OpsMgr) to discover and monitor the status of Dell PowerVault MD Storage Arrays, on a defined network segment. This representation includes the receipt of alerts and pre-failure alerts with the ability to drill down to each hardware component from the overall Dell hardware health, and allows Dell customers to assess, respond to, and better ensure availability of Dell Storage systems monitored in the OpsMgr environment. In addition to improved availability, the Management Pack enhances the ability to monitor and manage the hardware in a single management solution.
The version 6.1 release consists of: 1. Dell_MD_StorageArray_Management_Pack_Suite_x86_x64.exe - The installer for installing Dell MDStorage Management Pack Suite. 2. DellMPv61_MDStorageArray_IG.pdf - contains installation and upgrade instructions for user to get started on using the Dell MD Storage Array Management Pack effectively. 3. DellMPv61_MDStorageArrayMP_Readme.txt - Readme contains more details on Management of Dell PowerVault MD Storage Arrays.

Format Description:
This file format consists of an archive of files that may be decompressed to a directory on the hard drive. The installation can then be done from that directory.
1. Download the file to a directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable. 2. Go to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the executable to unzip the files. The default extraction folder is C:\Dell Management Packs\MD Storage Array Mgmt Suite\6.1. You may select a different location for file extraction by editing the path. 3. Launch the Dell_MD_StorageArray_Management_Pack_Suite_x86_x64.exe file from the extracted location. The welcome screen for Dell MD Storage Array Management Pack is displayed. 4. Click Next. The license agreement is displayed. 5. To continue the installation, accept the license terms after reading them, and click Next. 6. Click Change (if required) to change the default installation folder and click Next. The Ready to Install the Program screen is displayed. 7. Click Install. The Installing Dell MD Storage Management Pack suite progress screen is displayed. 8. Click Finish on the Install Shield Wizard Completed screen.
