Installation
1. Unzip the downloaded file to the system hard drive or other storage media. 2. Change to the directory that corresponds to the Linux distribution to be used. 3. Once the RPM file is found, execute the applicable command below to install the package. For 32-bit: rpm -Uvh xorg-x11-drv-mga-1.4.13-2.el5.2.i386.rpm For 64-bit: rpm -Uvh xorg-x11-drv-mga-1.4.13-2.el5.2.x86_64.rpm 4. Create a basic xorg.conf using the X executable itself. At root, run: #Xorg :1 -configure 5. This will create the file "xorg.conf.new" which can then be copied to "/etc/X11/xorg.conf": #cp /root/xorg.conf.new /etc/X11/xorg.conf
