Note 2: Your system requires a restart after installing the application. The restart can be deferred but must be completed to ensure that the update is installed.

1. In the Linux command line interface, run the following command to extract contents from command_monitor-linux--.tar.gz.
tar -zxvf command_monitor-linux--_.tar.gz
The command_monitor-linux--_.tar.gz contains the following packages that must be installed in the following order:
a. omi-.ssl_b. srvadmin-hapi__amd64.deb
c. command_monitor-linux--_.deb
2. To install OMI, run dpkg -i omi-.ssl_.x64.deb
3. To install HAPI, run dpkg -i srvadmin-hapi__amd64.deb
4. To install Dell Command | Monitor, run dpkg -i command_monitor-linux--_.deb
5. To verify that the Dell Command | Monitor is installed in your system, run dpkg -l | grep command-monitor
