Fixes & Enhancements
- Fixes for false reporting of an error 3 on the Seven Segment Display
- Fix possibility of mid tape load error that could result in snapped tape inside of drive that will not eject. This is fixed through dynamic breaking.
- Drive hang on read. Drive may hang if a Read command is issued after a Read permanent error has been logged.
- Capacity Calculation. Improve remaining capacity calculation so it is more accurate.
- Incorrect upper limit of stepper number at lateral position recovery. During error recovery, if part of the recovery involves movement of the head, it is possible that the head can get left in a position that will prevent cartridge eject because the head is placed in the path of the threader arm.
- Cartridge cannot eject after EOT detection error. Cartridge cannot be ejected after false EOT indication. Fixes the need for drive to be power cycled to remove the cartridge.
- Positioning error results in SCD”6”. Incorrect band is reported during deceleration.
- Can't unload tape after Power on Reset: When the tape is in the mounted condition, but not threaded, and a power event happens, the drive mid tape recovery function could not unload the cartridge.
- SCD “3” firmware error on Erase request for write protected cartridge.
