1) Ensure that the IdentityModule's exe file does not have 'BSU' in its file name. 2) Extract out the .pm file from the zip pack exe in this release. 3) Login into iDRAC web GUI. 4) Navigate to 'iDRAC firmware update' link located on left pane. 5) Upload the .pm file. Wait for iDRAC reboot to complete. 6) Reboot the system.Wait for System to complete one more self-reboot before you see updated BIOS splash logo. 7) Verify the Branding changes ( on iDrac GUI and System) requested in this .pm file.

Important Notes:
1. This utility should only be used for installing after motherboard replacement. Use of this utility for other purposes may render the current application inoperable. Please consult your support/services before using this utility.
Preparation: 1) Ensure you begin with 'Dell Branded' as soon as you complete 'MotherBoard replacement' 2) Ensure you have latest BIOS, Idrac, Lifecycle Controller revisions. 3) Move 'Service Tag' to replaced MotherBoard. 4) Optional: Install any physical license ( Enterprise license, etc) if you had on original system. 5) Ensure that the IdentityModule's exe file has 'BSU' in its file name. Caution: The exe file name without 'BSU' ( Board Service Utility) will fail to update.
Installation: 1) Extract out the .pm file from the zip pack exe in this release. 2) Login into iDRAC web GUI. 3) Navigate to 'iDRAC firmware update' link located on left pane. 4) Upload the .pm file. 1. Navigate to http://support.dell.com/ and then to 'Support for Enterprise IT' option. 2. Click on the 'Select a Product' button. 3. You will see, "Do you have your service tag or Express Service Code?" 4. Select 'No', then choose option "Choose from a list of all Dell Products". then 'Continue' button. 5. You will see 'Select you Product Type' page. 6. Select 'Desktops', then 'Legacy System' link. 7. You will see "Choose you Dell Legacy Systems' page. 8. Select specific system ( only 12G or higher) of your choice. e.g. 'External OEMR R720'. 9. Then, click on 'Drivers and Downloads' tab, then 'LifeCycle Controller' option. 10.Look for file near 'Applied to OEM ID Module'. 11. Download the 'Cust' or 'Cust BSU' file as needed.
