Download 1. Click the "Download Now" link to download the file. 2. If the Export Compliance Disclaimer window appears, click the "I agree" link to accept the agreement. 3. When the File Download window appears, click "Save" to save the file to your hard drive.
Installation 1. Log in as the root user 2. At a command prompt, type "tar xzvf dell-nvidia-xxxx-multiarch-1.tar.gz" to extract the files from the compressed archive 3. Download the latest dkms RPM from support.dell.com, or install the one from the archive by typing "rpm -Uvh dkms-2.0.5-1.noarch.rpm". If you receive a message that a newer dkms is installed on your system already, proceed to the next step 4. At a command prompt, type "uname -m" 5. If the output from step 4 is "i686", then at a command prompt type "rpm -Uvh dell-nvidia-xxxx-1dkms.i386.rpm" to install the 32-bit device driver. If the output from step 4 is "x86_64", then at a command prompt type "rpm -Uvh dell-nvidia-xxxx-1dkms.x86_64.rpm" to install the 64-bit device driver. 6. Start or restart the X Window system for the device driver to take effect.
