The base version of OMNM that you download here will manage up to ten (10) Dell devices. To manage additional devices, you can purchase device license packs by contacting your sales representative, or go to www.dell.com/omnm. Note: Dell previously released free versions of this application (OMNM 3.x and earlier) that allowed an unlimited number of devices to be discovered and managed. Beginning with OMNM 4.0, an additional license is required to manage more than ten devices. You can purchase additional licenses by contacting your sales representative or go to www.dell.com/omnm. If you previously upgraded from OMNM 3.x to OMNM 4.4 and did not install an additional license or chose not to purchase additional licenses at that time, you can still upgrade to this version and retain/manage all of your previously discovered devices. However, you will not be able to discover any additional devices including newly supported devices unless you are below your installed license limit. Also, each time you remove a device from discovered devices, you will not be allowed to add the device back unless you are below the installed license limit. IMPORTANT: OMNM 5.1 can be installed as an initial install or upgraded from version 5.0. If you upgrade from OMNM 5.0, all data and settings will be maintained. If you have an additional license key for OMNM 5.0 that enables you to manage more than ten devices, you will need to update your license key to an OMNM 5.1 license format. This can be done by contacting your sales representative or going to www.doradosoftwrae.com/dell/upgrade-info.html. There is no charge for updating your license key to the OMNM 5.1 format. Refer to the User Guide and Release Notes for additional information. As always, it is recommended that you backup your OMNM database if you are upgrading. Refer to the User Guide that came with this application for the backup procedure. If you are running OMNM 4.4, ***** we strongly recommend uninstalling OMNM 4.4 and installing OMNM 5.1 as an initial install *****. If you are running OMNM 4.4 and choose to upgrade, OMNM will change and migrate only a limited amount of data from to version 5.1. This results in some data and settings being changed or no longer accessible. Refer to the User Guide and Release Notes for additional information. If you choose to install OMNM 5.1 as an upgrade from OMNM 4.4, you can continue to manage previously discovered devices after reinstalling your license key. However, you will be required to update your OMNM 4.4 license to an OMNM 5.1 license to enable the new OMNM 5.1 features. If after an upgrade you have more than 10 devices discovered, you will only be able to remove devices and not be allowed to add any device until your OMNM 4.4 license has been converted to OMNM 5.1 license format. This can be done by contacting your sales representative or going to www.doradosoftware.com/dell/upgrade-info.html. Refer to the User Guide and Release Notes for additional information. There is no charge for updating your OMNM 4.4 license key to the OMNM 5.1 license format. Upgrades from versions prior to OMNM 4.4 are not supported. If you are running OMNM or an earlier release, you should uninstall OMNM in order to install OMNM 5.1. OMNM provides support for the following Dell Networking devices: Powerconnect: 55xx, 55xxP, 70xx, 70xxP, 7024F, 7048R, 7048R-RA, M8428-K, M8024-K, 62xx, 62xxP, 62xxF, 8024/F, M8024, M6348, M6220, 54xx, 53xx, 35xx, 35xxP, 34xx, 34xxP, W-6xx, W-3200, W-3400, W-3600, W-Series ClearPass GuestConnect, AP-68, AP-92, AP-93/H, AP-104, AP-105, AP-124, AP-125, AP-134, AP-135, AP-175P, IAP-92, IAP-93, IAP-105, IAP-134, IAP-135, B-MLXe4, B-MLXe8, B-MLXe16, B-FCOE1024, B-FCX624, B-FCX624S, B-FCX648, B-FCX648S, B-TI24X, B-RX4, B-RX8, B-RX16, B-8000/8000e, B-DCX4S Force10: MXL, S4810, S60, S55, Z9000, C300, C150, S50N, S50V, S25N, S25P, S25V, E1200i (Exascale & Terascale), E1200 (Terascale), E600i (Exascale & Terascale), and E300 Terascale.
