The key features supported by this release in conjunction with
controller firmware version 07.35.36.60 are:
- New OS support for SLES11 Service Pack 1
- Modular Disk Storage Manager enhancements
- Several Modular Disk Configuration Utility enhancements for all
operating systems other then RHEL4 and SLES9
- Infrastructure changes to support future generational coexistence
Additionally, the following is a high level overview of fixed issues
and enhancements that have been made:
- Various controller firmware enhancements to improve performance
- Modular Disk Storage Manager will now recognize the management
host time zone
- Duplicate alert mail will no longer be sent when a single critical
event occurs
- The Set/Change Enclosure tags option will no longer intermittently
fail to make the changes

In launching MDSM for the MD3000i -
- for Windows, MDSM will launch automatically -- alternatively, a user can run < autorun.bat >
- for Linux, the installer should launch automatically -- alternatively, a user can run < autorun >
NOTE: for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 operating system, CDs are auto-mounted with the -noexec mount option. This option does not allow you to run any executable from the CD.
To fix this problem, you need to unmount the CD, then manually re-mount the CD-ROM and then run executables.
