Format Description:
This file format consists of an archive of files that may be decompressed to a directory on the hard drive. The installation can then be done from that directory.
1. Download self extracting zip file to your local machine. 2. Unzip file and move firmimg.cm1 binary to TFTP server root directory. 3. On machine with racadm CLI command installed, issue the racadm fwupdate CLI command, similar to the example below:
racadm -r rac_ip_addr -u rac_user_name -p rac_user_password fwupdate -g -u -a TFTP SERVER IP ADDRESS -d /path/from/tftp/root/
Note1: The racadm CLI command is installed as part of the Open Manage Remote Access Controller (RAC) Management Station software application.
Note2: For security, the remote racadm utility will only authenticate the command transaction if the username is "root" or "racadmuser." When using the remote racadm utility, if the "-u" option is not specified, the default user name "racadmuser" is used.
